Our second project working with J.J.Books and a rather special publication ‘Brahma Dreaming’. Another of John Jackson’s intriguing books, this his version of the tales of the Hindus’ great gods and brilliantly reimagined illustrations by Daniela Jaglenka Terrazzini.

The brief was very simple ‘we want the highest of production to give this book the justice it deserves’. Sourcing only the best of papers, this high end luxury coffee table book was designed to compliment the beautiful black ink illustrations and exquisite hand-drawn fonts. We worked closely with Daniela to achieve the highly finished results,

With a distinctive black dust jacket, Brahma Dreaming is finished in black laminate with contrasting orange varnish details. Underneath the black cloth cover is a fully illustrated front and back with foil stamping and debossing, also in black and orange. It features elaborate endpapers and is completed with a tangerine ribbon marker.

We also designed the complimentary media kit, housing the book within a rigid black box adorned with the book title and lily motif in white vinyl. The set included a collection of postcards featuring a selection of the black and white illustrations.
