Interactive App for iOS & Android, Book design

Pancake Pandemonium, the interactive app, was a project undertaken in collaboration with sister agency, Digital Leaf.

Having artworked Pancake Pandemonium, as a traditional children’s picture book, the next step was to take that illustrative content and create an interactive children’s book version for the iOS and and Android markets.

Starting from initial storyboarding with artist, author and development team, we oversaw the entire creative project, working with animators, developers, voice over artists and musicians to bring the apps to life.

To support the release of the app we also conducted a marketing strategy, submitting the apps to review sites and bloggers, in an attempt to make the market aware of the products. This resulted in 20,000 + downloads in the first month.

We then took the other 3 picture books by Anita Pouroulis (Mum’s Cronky Car, Oh, What a Tangle! and My Monster Mayhem) through the same, yet individually unique, process.
