Strathmore, Richmond’s day special school for learners with complex learning difficulties, is currently undergoing major relocation from it’s existing site.

To celebrate the school’s exciting new surroundings they decided to have a new brand to compliment it. Strathmore’s headmaster, Ivan Pryce and governors wanted their new school logo to be representative of their merging with three existing state schools and the positive interaction for their pupils within the mainstream school environment. The chosen design was simple yet strong, using bold primary colours and incorporating a group of children in energetic poses, showing solidarity and equality. This ident was successfully applied to school uniform merchandise and signage.

Silent Deer were also commissioned to photograph within the schools and during external activities with the children for their current website. We will be involved with further photography when the latest new school buildings are completed and their next school prospectus.
