The Weasel, Puffin, Unicorn, Lobster, Baboon, Pig, Lobster Race. A title so long that we couldn’t put it as the header on the website!
This was the debut children’s title by The Superhairies, illustrated beautifully by Angus Mackinnon and cleverly written by James Thorp.
In collaboration with Digital Leaf publishing we completed the design and artwork of this large format hard cover picture book.
The illustrator wanted to restrict the colours to a select palette throughout the whole book and at the same time keep a core few to each ‘world’. Which we think we achieved.
We then devised and executed a marketing campaign, involving 50+ bespoke marketing kits (containing the book and press release) being sent out to reviews, bloggers and relevant journalists.
The book went on to critical acclaim and was stocked in the Tate Gallery bookshop.
